An experience unlike any other, dogs simply cannot wait for their next Swimming and Diving class at Hunter Canine. So get ready to dive in and splash around as you expand your dog’s horizons and provide them with the mental and physical exercise they need, even during the hot summer months.

By properly and safely introducing your dog to swimming and the dock, dogs just learning to swim will quickly and easily learn how to remain safe and calm in and around the water. Even more, through the positive socialization and confidence boost they will receive throughout class, he or she will become more balanced and happy, ready to take on a wide range of new situations and challenges.

For our more advanced swimmers and divers, these classes will introduce you to the skills, concepts, and techniques necessary to be Dock Diving champions. Even more, we will have the opportunity to refine the communication and teamwork between you and your dog so that they go further, higher and faster in the pool.

Introduction To Swimming and Diving:

• Basic water safety procedures.
• Safely getting in and out of the pool.
• Getting comfortable swimming in the water.
• Jumping off the dock.

Competitive Dock Diving:

• Dock diving rules and fundamentals
• Big Air technique and practice
• Extreme Vertical technique and practice
• Speed Retrieve technique and practice

**Must have completed Beginner Obedience or our Training Retreat.
